José “Lupe” González lanza campaña para la alcaldía de South Sioux City
South Sioux City, NE – Un residente de la comunidad desde hace mucho tiempo, propietario de un negocio y entrenador de fútbol, José Lupe “González lanzó su campaña hoy para alcalde de South Sioux City. Lupe y su esposa, Denise, han estado casados por veintitrés años. Tienen cuatro hijos, María, Aarón, Alyssa e Isaac, que se han graduado de las Escuelas de South Sioux City. Lupe y su familia han tenido y operado el restaurante Mi Familia en Dakota Avenue durante los últimos cinco años.
Lupe se mudó a South Sioux City hace más de 20 años. Asistió a Northeast Nebraska Community College donde estudió justicia criminal y actualmente trabaja con jóvenes en situación de riesgo en el área metropolitana de Sioux City. Lupe también se desempeña como el entrenador del equipo de fútbol masculino de South Sioux City High School y fundó los equipos de fútbol South Sioux City Diablos, que involucran a unos 500 jugadores de entre seis y dieciocho años. Jose “Lupe” Gonzalez Launches Campaign for Mayor of South Sioux City
South Sioux City, NE — Longtime community resident, business owner, and soccer coach, Jose Lupe” Gonzalez launched his campaign today for mayor of South Sioux City.
Lupe and his wife, Denise, have been married for twenty-three years. They have four children, Maria, Aaron, Alyssa, and Isaac who have all attended school and graduated from the South Sioux City Schools. Lupe and his family have owned and operated Mi Familia’ Restaurant on Dakota Avenue for the last five years.
Lupe moved to South Sioux City over 20 years ago. He attended attended Northeast Nebraska Community College where he studied criminal justice and currently works with with at-risk-youth in the greater Sioux City area.
Lupe also serves as the the head coach for the South Sioux City High School’s Boys’ Soccer team and founded the South Sioux City Diablos soccer teams that involves about 500 players who are aged six to eighteen.
As Mayor of South Sioux City, Lupe will leverage his experience as a local business owner and a youth development leader to create opportunities for young people through smart community investments.
