Wayne State College Offers Master’s Degrees in Organizational Management (MSOM), Now Registering Students for Fall 2016

(Wayne, Neb.) — Wayne State College offers two Master’s Degree in Organizational Management (MSOM) online graduate programs designed to provide the next step for working professionals.

Sports enthusiasts will want to take advantage of the Sport and Recreation Management program to kick their career into high gear. Professionals with an interest in boosting employee performance will find a home in the Human Resource Management program.

Both programs are fully online, consist of 36 credit hours, provide instruction by full-time qualified faculty, feature flexible scheduling, full or part-time depending upon the situation, and meet in Fall, Spring, and Summer.

The concentration in Sport and Recreation Management aims at sports enthusiasts with undergraduate degrees in education, business, sport management, exercise science, or the liberal arts, who are ready to leverage a multidisciplinary graduate approach into a career in physical activity settings such as sports industry management, coaching, administration, and sports and recreation sales and marketing.

Sport and Recreation Management offers students a market advantage by delivering business skills with practical industry knowledge and experience. The program provides any combination of skills related to planning, organizing, leading, and evaluating within whose primary product or service is related to sport and/or physical activity.

The Human Resource Management program is designed for students who want to maximize employee performance in service of their employer’s strategic objectives. The program covers a series of business activities used to manage the employees within a business organization, specifically related to workforce planning and employment; employee recruitment, selection, orientation, performance appraisals; human resource development; job analysis and design; compensation and benefits; and employee labor relations.
