WITCC celebra el evento Taste of Chile

El Instituto Internacional de Educación y los estudiantes chilenos del Western Iowa Tech Community College (WITCC) organizarán un evento Taste of Chile el 18 de septiembre de 2019 de 11-1: 00 pm. El evento contará con cocina chilena, música, bailes, juegos y más en celebración de las Fiestas Patrias, Día de la Independencia de Chile. El evento se llevará a cabo en el Overlook Café en el campus de WITCC Sioux City, 4647 Stone Ave. (Estacionamiento 5, entrada 15).

WITCC tiene casi 100 estudiantes internacionales de Brasil y Chile que asisten a la universidad este año académico. “Tenemos una circunstancia muy especial en WITCC donde tenemos muchas culturas diferentes representadas en nuestro campus”, dice la Dra. Juline Albert, Vicepresidenta de Aprendizaje de WITCC. “Valoramos la diversidad en WITCC y nos complace exponer a nuestros estudiantes a personas y formas de pensar de todo el mundo”.

WITCC Holds Taste of Chile Event

The International Education Institute and the Chilean students at Western Iowa Tech Community College (WITCC) are hosting a Taste of Chile Event on September 18, 2019 from 11-1:00 pm. The event will feature Chilean cuisine, music, dancing, games, and more in celebration of Fiestas Patrias, Chilean Independence Day. The event will be held in the Overlook Café on the WITCC Sioux City Campus, 4647 Stone Ave. (Parking lot 5, Entrance 15).

WITCC has almost 100 international students from Brazil and Chile attending college this academic year. “We have a very special circumstance at WITCC where we have many different cultures represented on our campus,” says Dr. Juline Albert, Vice-President of Learning at WITCC. “We value diversity at WITCC and are pleased to expose our students to people and ways of thinking from all around the world.“
