USA Judo invita a la comunidad a probar judo gratis

USA Judo y el Club de Judo de Sioux City ofrecerán un día de “Judo gratis” el martes 29 de octubre, de 6 a 7 pm. El evento gratuito se llevará a cabo en el Salónde la Fama en el primer piso del Centro de Recreación Familiar Long Lines, 401 Gordon Drive. Se invita a personas de todas las edades a probar judo gratis esa noche.
El judo es un deporte emocionante y dinámico que varios ejercicios para niños y adultos. “Los días de Judo Gratis son una oportunidad para presentar el judo a nuevas audiencias, al tiempo que permiten que nuestros clubes interactúen con su comunidad”, explicó Keith Bryant, CEO de USA Judo. “Está diseñado para ser un evento introductorio divertido para mostrar el deporte del judo a nuestra familia, amigos y comunidades locales”.
Las personas que deseen participar deben usar pants y una camiseta. Las personas con cabello largo deben atar su cabello hacia atrás.
El Club de Judo de Sioux City, un programa de Parques y Recreación, es el anfitrión del evento. La instructora del club es Karen Mackey, cinturón negro de sexto grado y competidora jubilada a nivel nacional.

USA Judo and the Sioux City Judo Club will offer a “Try Judo for Free” day on Tuesday, October 29th, from 6-7 pm. The free event will be held in the Hall of Fame Room on the first floor of the Long Lines Family Recreation Center, 401 Gordon Drive. Persons of all ages are invited to try judo for free that evening.
Judo is an exciting, dynamic sport involving throws and pins for children and including chokes and joint locks for adults. “The ‘Try Judo for Free’ days are an opportunity to introduce judo to new audiences, while allowing our clubs to interact with their community,” explained Keith Bryant, USA Judo CEO. “It’s designed to be a fun introductory event to showcase the sport of judo to our family, friends, and local communities.”
Individuals wishing to participate should wear sweatpants and a t-shirt. Individuals with long hair should tie their hair back.
The Sioux City Judo Club, a Parks and Recreation program, is hosting the event. The club instructor is Karen Mackey, sixth degree black belt and retired national-level competitor.
