5th Annual International Chef Cook-Off Event (English & Spanish Version)
Fourteen of Sioux Falls finest citizens are going head-to-head in a culinary throw-down to see who can create the most mouth-watering appetizer or entrée that one can experience. While showcasing some of the most gracious individuals in our Sioux Falls community, the Multi-Cultural Center of Sioux Falls is able to put emphasis on the 21 programs and services it provides.
On December 7th from 5 to 7 pm, people can vote for their favorite dishes at this event located at 515 N Main Ave. Winners will be announced at 6:45pm.
This year’s Celebrity Chefs are:
* Eugene Ware from Ware Soul Food Affair making Chicken and Wild Rice with Corn Bread and Banana Pudding
*Kyle Determan from 605 Magazine making Pizza Rolls
*Arian Wisal from Khorasan Kabob making Butter Chicken with Afghan Rice
* Nicholas Skajewski from Avera making Carnitas Street Tacos
* Abby Bichoff from Stockyards making Shepard’s Bread
* Zach Bauer from Red Door Church making Texas Pecan Smoked Brisket with Bourbon Honey Glaze
* Suraj Bohora from the Multi-Cultural Center making MoMos
* Achut Deng from Smithfield making Sambusas
* John Reck from Grand Falls Casino making Tamarind Lemon Tarts
* Jo Erickson from First Presbyterian Church making Snert
* Willie Bertch from First Lutheran Church making Korean Wings
* Anita Gupta making Bajihas and Gulab Jamun
* Chris Najarro from the Multi-Cultural Center making Ceviche

There are a few tickets still available. Single tickets are $30, couple tickets are $50 and a table of 8 costs $200. “Folks can come, enjoy amazing food and vote for their favorite chef and then head off to an evening event,” comments Christy Nicolaisen, Executive Director of the Multi-Cultural Center of Sioux Falls. “You can purchase tickets online at sfmcc.org, calling 605-367-7401 or at the door that evening.”

Catorce de los mejores ciudadanos de Sioux Falls se enfrentan cara a cara en un lanzamiento culinario para ver quién puede crear el aperitivo o plato más delicioso que uno puede experimentar.
