I-80 crash near Greenwood claims three lives, injures several (English & Spanish Version)

The victims have been identified as Domingo Pascual Velasquez, 19, of Lincoln, and Erica Rafael, 15, of Lincoln. They were pronounced deceased at the scene. Heidy Diaz, 10, of Lincoln, was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where she died.

A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 Sunday morning has claimed the lives of three people and injured several others.
At approximately 11:12 a.m., NSP received a report of a crash in the westbound lanes of I-80 at mile marker 422, near Greenwood. Four vehicles were involved in the crash.
Two people were pronounced deceased at the scene. Five others were transported to Omaha area hospitals, two of which were in critical condition at the time of their transport.  One of them has since passed away.

Additional information will be released when appropriate. The crash investigation is ongoing.
As of 4:15 p.m., all lanes of I-80 in this area have reopened.

Las víctimas han sido identificadas como Domingo Pascual Velásquez, de 19 años, de Lincoln, y Erica Rafael, de 15 años, de Lincoln. Fueron declarados fallecidos en la escena. Heidy Díaz, de 10 años, de Lincoln, fue transportada al Centro Médico de Nebraska en Omaha, donde murió.

Un accidente automovilístico en la Interestatal 80 el domingo por la mañana  cobró la vida de tres personas e hirió a varias otras.
Aproximadamente a las 11:12 a.m., NSP recibió un informe de un accidente en los carriles hacia el oeste de la I-80 en la milla 422, cerca de Greenwood. Cuatro vehículos estuvieron involucrados en el accidente.
Dos personas fueron declaradas fallecidas en la escena. Otros cinco fueron transportados a hospitales del área de Omaha, dos de los cuales estaban en estado crítico en el momento de su transporte. Uno de ellos ya falleció.Se dará a conocer información adicional cuando sea apropiado. La investigación del choque está en curso.
A partir de las 4:15 p.m., todos los carriles de la I-80 en esta área se han reabierto.
