OMAHA, Nebraska –U.S. Los Servicios de Ciudadanía e Inmigración y el Tribunal de Distrito de Nebraska de EE. UU. darán la bienvenida a 25 candidatos a la ciudadanía de EE. UU. que se naturalizarán durante dos ceremonias en el Palacio de Justicia Federal Roman L. Hruska el viernes. El juez magistrado Michael D. Nelson presidirá la ceremonia y el diputado de la sala administrará el juramento de lealtad.

Los candidatos a la ciudadanía proceden de 16 países: Bután, Birmania, Camerún, Cuba, Guatemala, Irak, Malawi, México, Perú, Filipinas, Somalia, Sudán, Tailandia, Venezuela, Vietnam y Zimbabwe.

Más de siete millones de personas han solicitado beneficios de inmigración en línea. USCIS to Welcome 25 New US Citizens at Omaha Courthouse
OMAHA, Neb. –U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the U.S. District Court District of Nebraska will welcome 25 U.S. citizenship candidates to be naturalized during two ceremonies at the Roman L. Hruska Federal Courthouse Friday. Magistrate Judge Michael D. Nelson will preside over the ceremony, and the courtroom deputy will administer the Oath of Allegiance.

The citizenship candidates originate from 16 countries: Bhutan, Burma, Cameroon, Cuba, Guatemala, Iraq, Malawi, Mexico, Peru, Philippines, Somalia, Sudan, Thailand, Venezuela, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.

They live in Crete, Elkhorn, Grand Island, La Vista, Lincoln, North Platte, Omaha, Schuyler, South Sioux City.

USCIS encourages new U.S. citizens to share their naturalization photos on social media using the hashtag #NewUSCitizen.

USCIS naturalized approximately 625,000 people in fiscal year 2020. Many of them applied using USCIS online tools. More than seven million people have applied online for immigration benefits. To file online, individuals must first create a USCIS online account at myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov.
